Polarimeter Sample Cells

Rudolph Instruments now introduce several New Redesigned Series’ of sample cells to provide significant performance improvements in Optical Rotation measurements.

The new Series 7B straight glass cells solve the vexing problem of bubbles by a small volume (~ 0.1 ml) bubble chamber. They preserve the sample economy of the older 2B Series while avoiding the large volume bubble chamber of the 6B Series.

Individually precision shrunk glass tubing now used in all the narrow bore (5 mm and less) cells have exceptional concentricity. This improves reading repeatability with position or rotation of the cell on the trough.

The redesigned screw ends provide symmetric positioning of the cells irrespective of window mounting hardware. They also provide an improved flow path in the jacketed cells for faster temperature equilibrium and end to end temperature uniformity.

The standard Sample Cells normally available are listed overleaf. Please consult factory if you have any special requirements not covered by the standard range. Cells with a variety of constructions, bore diameters, and lengths can be manufactured to meet your requirements.
